| Sue Williamson FTIA is a Tax Partner at Clayton Utz and practises in most major revenue law including income tax, capital gains tax and indirect taxes. Sue's experience in the tax disputes area includes handling revenue reviews/audits from the commencement of the review/audit throught to negotiations and settlement of disputed issues including the document management stage, witness review and preparation, issuing declaratory proceedings, FOI applications, negotiations and settlement. She also has significant tax litigation experience including experience with matters in the High Court, Federal Court, State Supreme Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. | Peter is a Tax Partner at KPMG. He has been a Partner for 13 years. Peter is also the firm’s National Leader for Tax Consolidation. Peter has been involved with Tax Consolidation for the last seven years, being a member of the ATO / Treasury Consolidation Joint Design Team, as well as a number of ATO Consolidation working parties. Peter has advised a number of KPMG's clients on consolidation issues, as well as domestic and international tax matters. Peter has also represented the Tax Institute in consultation with the ATO on Phillips service trusts, as well as advising professional firms on ATO service trust audits and structuring professional firms in light of Commissioner’s taxation ruling TR 2006/5. | Michael has been a member of the Victorian Bar since 1993 practising principally in taxation law. He is the immediate past chairman of the Victorian Division of the Taxation Institute. Michael is the editor of the Laws of Australia Revenue Law Volume and is also the co-author of Death and Taxes, a book about the tax consequences of death (published in December 2004). | Mike is the head of the Perth Tax team of Deacons. He has been practising in the area of taxation for 20 years in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia, and has extensive experience in all areas of revenue law, including income tax, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax, stamp duties, payroll tax and goods and services tax. Mike has undertaken taxation work in the areas of corporate mergers, reconstructions and acquisitions and also in the mining and resources industry. He has also provided advice in relation to trusts, superannuation, commercial law and banking and finance matters.
