| Noel Rowland joined the Institute in December 1994 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 1998. He is an experienced association executive having worked for a number of industry associations, the last being Aged Care Australia. He has previously been active in the Australian Society of Association Executives and completed the Graduate Certificate in Association Management at Monash Mt Eliza Business School in 1997. Prior to moving into association management Noel was an advisor to a Federal politician. As with past organisations, he represents the Institute on various industry forums and groups, and is currently a member of the Business Entry Point Consultative Group. He is also an active member of The Executive Connection, an international organisation of CEOs and Managing Directors. Contact | |

| Robert Jeremenko | |
Robert Jeremenko is Senior Tax Counsel and heads the Tax Policy and Research team. Robert leads the Institute's advocacy and research activities and is responsible for contributing to and influencing the development of Federal and State tax policy and administration. Robert also represents the views and expertise of members to the media. Robert joins us after five years at one of Australia's largest banks, where he held the roles of Head of International Government Affairs, Group Manager Government Affairs and Senior Adviser Regulatory Affairs. Prior to this, Robert was taxation adviser on the personal staff of the Australian Federal Treasurer, where he worked on the implementation of the GST laws and broader taxation policy over a four year period. Robert holds degrees in Law and Science from the Australian National University and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Australia. | |

| Angie Ananda | |
| Angie Ananda joined the Taxation Institute as the Tax Counsel in May 2009. Prior to working at the Institute, Angie had extensive experience as a taxation lawyer working for many years at one of Australia's leading law firms, Clayton Utz. Angie specialised in providing corporate taxation and structuring advice in relation to private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She is also an experienced advisor in relation to international taxation issues. Angie has a Master of Laws, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). Angie is also an FTIA and a member of the NSW Law Society. Contact | |

| Ruth Ferraro | |
![]() | Ruth Ferraro is the General Manager of Education and is responsible for the Events and Education Division of the Institute. She holds a Master of Adult Education and Training (UTS 1999) and a Master of Business (UTS 2005). Prior to joining the Taxation Institute of Australia in March 2005, Ruth's previous experience spanned educational roles in other membership organisations in the finance, investment, accounting and financial planning sectors. Since joining the Taxation Institute Ruth has overseen the development and implementation of the Institute's Structured Education Program. |

| Alex Munroe | |
Alex Munroe is the General Manager of Information Products and is responsible for the Institute's Information Products strategy relating to all new and existing print publications (books, journals, subscriptions, convention papers and newsletters) and the TaxLine Library Research Service. Alex manages a team of professionals comprising publishers, editors, production management, design and librarians who service our Members as well as the Institute's internal functions. She holds a BA (Hons) from the Australian National University, an MA from Sydney University and a Graduate Certificate in Management (AGSM). Alex's previous roles have been in commercial publishing and product management for both Random House and Pan Macmillan Publishers. She has consulted to various small organisations on custom publishing initiatives and strategy development and implementation. | |

![]() | Anna Mirzayan is the General Manager of Marketing and is responsible for the Institute’s brand, marketing, PR, promotions and Business Alliance Partners. Anna holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, Diploma of Accounting and ADMA Certificate. Prior to joining the Taxation Institute in November 2008, Anna’s previous experiences spanned senior marketing roles with industry associations, higher education, vocational education, training organisations and prior to that having worked in the banking and property sectors. |

| Des has worked in finance and administration roles for over 20 years. He is responsible for Finance, Administration, IT, Membership and Property at the Institute. Des has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of NSW. He is a Fellow member of the CPAs (FCPA), and an Associate member of the Chartered Secretaries (ACIS), FTIA and is a JP. Des has experience in a number of industries having worked for TNT in Australia and Radio 2GB, and Abraxas in the U.K. Des worked for over 10 years at Insearch Ltd a large education company owned by the University of Technology Sydney. Before joining the Tax Institute Des was the Financial Controller of the Property Council of Australia. | |

Kirsty Payne Kirsty is the NSW/ACT State Manager. Kirsty works with the NSW/ACT committees to manage the delivery of the most relevant tax related CPD events in these States. Before her role as State Manager, Kirsty held the Course Operations Manager role of the Taxation Institute's Structured Education Division and prior to this was a member of the Tax Policy and Research team. Kirsty has been with the Taxation Institute since 2002. | |

![]() | Angelika Hislop Angelika Hislop is the State Manager for the South Australian & Northern Territory Division of the Tax Institute and is responsible for ensuring the achievement of the Institute’s strategic objectives at the State level in relation to education products and services, membership, tax technical and business development. Angelika joined the organisation in August 2006 following eight years with the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Her previous work experience encompasses relationship management, education & training, sales & marketing for various organisations in the Association, Further Education, Marketing, Hospitality and Medical industries. |
