Why has the design of TaxVine changed?
Member research conducted in late 2007 revealed that TaxVine, as a source of technical information, was one of the top three areas you wanted to see improved. In response to your feedback we conducted a competitive analysis and looked at technical alternatives to come up with a new look and easy-to-use TaxVine. You will now experience quicker access to the technical information you want, less email scrolling, an option to jump to specific topics or to view the whole newsletter and fewer ads.
Why do I have to login to view TaxVine?
Member research conducted in late 2007 revealed that one of the most important benefits of Membership of the Taxation Institute is TaxVine, your weekly Member Newsletter. The previous version of TaxVine was not able to be secured so that only Members of the Taxation Institute could view this valuable Member benefit. To ensure that TaxVine is maintained as a Member benefit we ask you to login to the Taxation Institute website using your Member credentials.
How do I login to the Taxation Institute website?
To login to the website, just enter your username (usually your Member number) and password in the login boxes. If you've forgotten your login, click the Forgot my password link and follow the steps to reset your security information. An email will be sent to you giving you a link to a page containing your username and that allows you to set up a new password.
How can I provide feedback on TaxVine?

How do I print out the newsletter?
To print the newsletter, first ensure that you are logged in to the Taxation Institute website. Then go to your TaxVine email newsletter and click on the 'Print Newsletter' button just below the masthead. This will take you to the entire content of the newsletter on the Taxation Institute website. Select 'Print' from your web browser to print it out.
How do I view previous issues of TaxVine?
Archives of TaxVine can be viewed on the Taxation Institute website. First ensure that you're logged in, then go to the TaxVine Newsletter page. You can use the TaxVine Issue Selector to view TaxVine archives going back to May 2006. For older editions, select the TaxVine Archive link under Related Content on the right hand side of the page.
Where do I find information about upcoming CPD events?
Your TaxVine newsletter includes a map of Australia on the left hand side. Just click on the state you're interested in to view upcoming events there.
