The Tax Institute’s 27th National Convention will be held at the National Convention Centre (NCC). The NCC is located only 15 minutes’ drive from Canberra Airport.

The National Convention Centre is serviced by four car parks including one underneath the Centre. This car park has capacity for 260 cars and internal lift access from the top level. The National Convention Centre car park can be entered off Constitution Avenue.
There are several options available to travel from Canberra airport to the CBD.
Shuttle: Each hour an Airport Express shuttle bus travels to and from the Airport, Russell, and the City. The cost is $10 one way and $20 return. Pre-book your tickets at www.royalecoach.com.au or phone 1300 368 897.
Taxi: Taxis are available from the lower level of the terminal entry. Alternatively, taxi bookings can be made by calling 13 22 27. The average cost from the airport to Canberra CBD is $47.

Getting to Canberra Convention Centre
On foot: Walk from city hotels to NCC via London Circuit and Constitution Avenue.
By car: The NCC is located only 15 minutes’ drive from Canberra Airport. The Centre is serviced by four car parks including one underneath.
Direct driving route - Sydney to Canberra
Leave Sydney via the M5 Motorway, connecting to Hume Highway 31. Turn off after Goulburn onto the Federal Highway. Trip time: 3 hours
Direct driving route - Melbourne to Canberra
Follow the CityLink toll road to the Western Ring Road, connecting to the Hume Highway. Near Yass, take the Barton Highway turn off to Canberra. Trip time: 7 hours

Transportation to Social Activities
Convention Welcome Drinks at the National Portrait Gallery
Transfers to the Convention Welcome Drinks at the National Portrait Gallery will depart from outside the National Convention Centre at 5.20pm on Wednesday 14 March. Following the welcome drinks, transfers will depart from the National Portrait Gallery at 7pm, returning to the Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Hotel Canberra, Aria Hotel and Clifton Suites.
Delegates attending an optional social function on Wednesday evening should refer to their confirmation letter for more information on transportation arrangements for these activities.
Convention Gala Dinner at Parliament House
Transfers to the Convention Gala Dinner at Parliament House will depart from the Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Hotel Canberra, Aria Hotel and Clifton Suites at 6.45pm on Thursday 15 March. Delegates wishing to take advantage of these transfers should arrive five minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Return coaches will depart from Parliament House throughout the evening to the Crowne Plaza, Hyatt Hotel Canberra, Aria Hotel and Clifton Suites.
