Abstract:
A comprehensive DTA between Australia and Argentina was sign in August 1999. The Agreement is the first DTA between Australia and a South American country. The government has indicated that the intention of the Agreement is to strengthen Australia's trade and investment links with Argentina and reduce the taxation of Australian businesses operating in Argentina
