06 Mar 07 Biannual survey of tax agents' perceptions

The ATO has advised that a total of 1,200 randomly selected tax practitioners will be interviewed by way of a computer assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) tracking system from Monday 5 March until Monday 12 March 2007 and should take around 10 minutes to complete.

The Biannual tracking survey of tax agents’ perceptions of service and usage of channels will help the ATO gain an understanding of tax practitioners’ perceptions of their recent experiences with the ATO through various channels, including phone, Tax Agent Portal, and correspondence. The survey is being conducted on behalf of the ATO by external research organisation, Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) Australia. All survey responses are confidential and neither individuals nor practices are identified in the report provided to the ATO. Participation in this survey is voluntary.
