04 Dec 08 Dispute over GST apportionment stood over - AXA

The Federal Court (Lindgren J) has stood over for directions a dispute between the taxpayer (AXA) and the Commissioner regarding whether AXA as the representative member of a GST group, of which NMLA was a member, was entitled to a proportion of its input tax credits in respect of supplies made to NMLA, having regard to the fact that certain of NMLA's acquisitions were input taxed supplies: AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited v FCT [2008] FCA 1834 (Federal Court, Lindgren J, 3 December 2008).
