11 Nov 099 Making employer super contributions where a fund's assets have been frozen

The ATO has published a factsheet entitled "Making employer super contributions to a fund whose assets have been frozen". It explains what employers should do if a default superannuation fund or a superannuation fund chosen by their employee has been identified by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) as a superannuation fund that is not meeting its superannuation fund obligations, and APRA has made a direction to freeze the superannuation fund’s assets.
