Other practitioners must be encouraged to do the same in dealing with the ATO, only when it costs the ATO money will they change their ways.

Also on Activity Statement (AS) related mail. My clients' AS go to them direct, so pursuant to ATO mail preferences I should not get any AS related mail; ICA payment demands, GIC etc. Of course I get lots and for years I have saved them for a month or two and then sent them all back to the ATO. No-one from the ATO has said not to and no client has ever complained of not getting their ATO AS related mail. I wounder what happens to it?? (IT mail comes to me and I deal with that, that is my preference). No-one should be shy about returned incorrectly addressed mail."
