"I wanted to thank Member 1 – see 2006 TAXVINE No 17 (20) (12 May 2006) - on their comments on our paper form issue from the prior week (see 2006 TAXVINE No 15 (16) (5 May 2006)). Normally I love the Tax Portal; however, our situation has another twist. Recently in a change-over of computer systems all our digital certificates were lost and we cannot reapply for these (and re-access the portal) 'til we fix the addresses on these entities. Hence the paper forms that we were completing. Unfortunately, it is a case of "Catch 22". We can't apply for new certificates to access the portal to change our addresses until we update our addresses to receive the passwords in the mail! Really appreciate the suggestion though and on the good side we are slowly progressing through each entity with the ATO."
