Managing Your Legal and Taxation Obligations in the New Fair Work Environment

Published on 26 May 2009 | Took place at Taxation Institute of Australia, Melbourne , VIC

Work Choices is officially dead. So what does that mean for employers and how will the new Fair Work Act 2009 affect them? How do you make termination or redundancy payments in compliance with the Fair Work Act? Employers must again familiarise themselves with a new employment law regime and how that interacts with tax law, especially in light of the finalisation of Taxation Ruling TR 2009/2 on 22 April 2009.

This event covered the above.
