This event was part of the Younger Tax Practitioner series.

In response to the continuing evolvement of global climate change the leading world governments and authorities are implementing strategies to drive the world towards low carbon emissions and environmental impact economies.

Early in February 2008 the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, ratified Australia’s commitment to the Kyoto Protocol and has committed to introduce the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme in July 2010.
