Today we received a broadcast email from Annamaria Carey at the ATO describing yet another ATO system stuff-up.
The broadcast includes the now seemingly obligatory heading that pervades almost all ATO communications, "What you need to do".
I searched the email and failed to find any apology or mea culpa. Confirmed missing in action.
Since this is the new tax-speak, whenever I write a letter (or Notice of Objection) to the ATO, I shall try to include the heading "What you need to do".
Since there appears to be so few humans at the ATO who can read, as our letters are so often ignored, best we treat their broadcasts similarly.
