We as tax agents are pretty simple, hardworking people. 

All we ask of the ATO is to send the Notice of Assessment to the address on the tax return, and the refund to the bank account on the tax return. Simple I would assume. 

MyGov has complicated our business lives, to the stage that we cannot provide a professional service to our clients. 

Clients change their bank account details and the ATO sends assessments to myGov addresses which clients never pick up or check. 

We are the tax agents – we should get all information. 

ATO, please send us the information we need. 

ATO it is really quite simple. Read the tax return and follow the instructions. Do not alter instructions on the tax return.
