The ATO has published a list of issues currently affecting the portals, with tips on how to resolve them.
The ATO says: “Some of the issues listed are under our control and we are working to resolve them as quickly as possible. However, some aren’t and we have included tips on how you can manage them.”
As issues are resolved, or more information becomes available, the ATO will keep tax agents informed through the Tax professionals newsroom and Tax professionals newsletter.
Issues listed include the following:
- Can’t access or use the portal: login link doesn’t work; Java updates
- Portal is slow: clear your browser cache
- Printing problems: pre-filling reports; activity statements
- Issues with reports, correspondence and messages: client correspondence list; on-demand reports; secure messaging reminder emails
- No access to the portal.
