I am Member 198 (TaxVine 29, 2 August 2019). I wrote into TaxVine about a client of mine who wished to lodge and pay Superannuation Guarantee charges, only to be advised by an ATO officer that PRNs are not issued over the phone but must be obtained from the Portal. 

I have now received a phone call from the ATO who was most helpful and “owned’ the issues I spoke about in TaxVine. The person from the ATO outlined what they had done to ensure my experience shouldn’t be repeated. 

I was appreciative of their proactiveness.
