"The Portal is again not working (I cannot print reports off, etc). It seems that it is always off the air more than on the air. So, after all of us paying millions for the upgraded system a year ago, how far have we come?
I called to lodge a complaint about it with Tax Practitioner Services and was told I couldn't - I could only provide feedback to pass up the line.
Could the Tax Institute please pass the "feedback" a bit higher up the line (and ask why the Complaints Area of TPS cannot take a complaint about the non-functioning of the Portal)?"
TAXVINE COMMENT: The Tax Institute's Tax Policy and Research division responds: "Portal functionality (rather, non-functionality) is a constant discussion topic at ATPF groups. We will ensure the point about the inability to complain is covered at the next meeting."
