22 Nov 1010 Incorrect client lodgment history in Portal

The ATO advises that in some cases, the Tax Agent Portal "Lodgment status – income tax" screen incorrectly:

  • shows lodgment history for years that pre-date a client's registration
  • reflects those years as not lodged.

The lodgment history in the ATO's processing systems is correct; however, the Portal is currently displaying pre-registration lodgment status incorrectly. The ATO says that it is working on making changes to the Portal to ensure it only shows periods that are relevant to a client, though this may take some time.
