Following the systems upgrade conducted by the ATO over the weekend of 26 and 27 January 2013, issues have arisen with access to the Tax Agent Portal.
The ATO issued a broadcast about this on 29 January 2013, advising that when attempting to log into or work in the Portal, an agent could be receiving the following messages:
- 'No TANs associated with your ABN'
- 'No Activity Statement available'
- 'Transaction ended - you are not authorised to view the details of the selected client'.
The ATO advised that the electronic lodgment service can still be used for the majority of Client Update requests, lodgment of client correspondence and generation of Client Reports.
The ATO is regularly updating the Systems Maintenance page to advise of the issues as they are arise and when they are likely to be resolved. Please follow the link to the “Systems Maintenance” area on the ATO page.
