The ATO advises that it is aware that some users are experiencing technical issues with certain functionality with the Tax Agent, BAS Agent and Business Portals.
Tax Agent and BAS Agent Portal affected functionality:
- adding and removing clients
- updating activity statement postal addresses
- updating activity statement account email addresses.
If in attempting to lodge a return for your client over the weekend of 28 February to 1 March 2015, you have encountered any of the above problems that stop you from lodging that return, please call the ATO on Monday 2 March 2015 between 8am to 6pm EDT on 13 72 86 FKC 3 3 and the ATO will work with you to fix the problem and where appropriate arrange a lodgment deferral for your client.
The ATO sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and is working to resolve these problems as soon as possible.
Business Portal affected functionality: updating activity statement addresses.
If you are unable to make critical address updates via the Business portal please contact 13 28 66 for assistance.
