"There is another beauty on the ATO's 2012 PAYG Withholding variation application. Both a colleague and I have come across this in the past week and had an astonished chuckle.
On the front page of the document where we are supposed to neatly fill-in the applicant's personal details is a space for 'First Given Name' and 'Other Given Name', but no space given to write the applicants 'Surname'.
Perhaps the PC brigade has gotten their claws into this one as well so as to not offend those poor marginalised people without a surname?
Could this be the precursor to the next raft of tax/welfare offsets, rebates and credits?"
