"I recently tried to get a Payment Slip for a beneficiary account of a deceased estate.

There's no ABN for this taxpayer, so no way to get a Payment Slip either.

Why should seeking a Payment Slip require an ABN?

Many (most?) taxpayers don't have an ABN, and often the ATO unilaterally cancels ABNs.

Member 292 is most certainly correct. The Payment Slip system is broken.

Keep up the good work with TaxVine. It remains a welcome weekly dose of sanity."
