"The ATO's IT resources are a joke. Now they've managed to stuff up the signing in/authentication process of the Portal. Please tell them to give us back the old system until they fully test the new AUSkey thing and get it running properly."

"The ATO had a go at upgrading computer systems and we all know how that panned out. We now have the Department of Innovation Industry Science and Research having their turn on the Tax Agents Portal upgrade to see if they can outdo the ATO and it seems that they have succeeded magnificently. They started on Friday night last week and, from my reckoning, the Portal has been accessible for about 15 hours this week. Well done!"

"The ATO has certainly learnt nothing from the system changeover stuff up. The changeover to AUSKey looks like being the same. Staff digital certificates were advised to be renewed but then weren’t able to be within the normal time period because the AUSKey system had been implemented so I have to apply for an AUSKey for staff who have had their digital certificate for years. I tried to get my personal AUSKey and after getting 80% of the way the machine tells me there is a system error and tells me to ring a number that is engaged for the whole day when I ring it intermittently through the day. Time wasting crap from an organization that continually promotes itself to its masters as having everything under control."
