MEMBER 232 responds to Member 230's lament about the apparent inability of the ATO to maintain current postal addresses:
"I feel your pain Member 230 - I moved office over 7 years ago. At the time, I did as I was told and advised the TPB of the change. To this day, clients' postal addresses routinely revert to my old office address for quarterly PAYG clients where they had left the system before I moved and re-entered it after I moved. Of course, the first we hear about it is when the collection action starts. Funny how they can get the address right then."
