"...plus Member 81's comments regarding tax agent lodgment performance - well said. The major stumbling block with the ATO for tax agents is the Portal. The ATO are loading it up more and more but is down for tax agents to use more and more so they have a real big problem!"

I also completed the tax agent survey – I hope the final results translate to 'disastrous', although if the practice performance stats are anything to go by, the poor ratings I gave will probably translate to 'excellent service', 'excellent communication' and 'excellent technological advances'.
Our performance was at 92.4%; not bad considering that we still have nearly 30% to go according to our book.
We too have been plagued by factors beyond our control this year – couldn't tell that from the stats though."
