Perhaps it is a case of paranoia creeping in, but staff across our offices have noticed a definite trend. We've suggested that the ATO may 'power-down' their systems on Fridays, anticipating a decreased load. The contrary view may be that tax agents are actually at their busiest on a Friday afternoon. Could there be any other possible explanation?"
