"Members Unite: Let us now all write to the PM who believes he is the greenest PM Australia has ever had and complain about his resource wasting tax office. I have, but I am still awaiting a response. You may wish to write to your local member as well."

"Today we received a superannuation fund "Income Tax Account - Statement of Account". On receipt my client immediately asked what is the due date? I said it is 15 May 2010 as per the payment advice slip attached to the "Due dates for lodgment and payment of your superannuation fund income tax return". Client says what? I said the notice/slip I sent you with the covering letter and as explained in the letter. Client says that has been filed!
Why can't the ATO put the due date on the Statement of Account?"

"I have finally had it with the ATO. I am retiring as at 30th June. I cannot cope with the amount of incompetence and confusion that they are creating.
To TAXVINE, thanks for all your help in the past few years in trying to get the ATO to wake up."
