01 Mar 13 More on the TPB's online registration

MEMBER 33 writes, in reply to Member 26's comments in last week's TAXVINE - see 2013 TAXVINE No 5 (22 February 2013) - about the difficulties in renewing registrations online:

"In reply to Member 26 (Tax Agent Registration Renewal) Tax Practitioners Board issues. When I tried to renew both my personal and my company registrations, I had similar problems. After several failed attempts I emailed the TPB with my details and told them that I now refused to renew my registrations through their site as it wasn't working. I advised them that everything they needed was in my email and that they should enter my information onto their system themselves as their system was broken. To the TPB's credit they processed both my applications and my renewals were issued soon after."
