Registrations for the first National tax practitioners’ conference are due by the end of this week (13 June 2014). The conference will be held in Sydney on Tuesday, 17 June to Wednesday, 18 June 2014.
The National tax practitioners’ conference will be presented by the ATO in consultation with the Tax Institute, CPA Australia, ICAA, ATMA, and KPMG. It will explore potential futures in the relationship between the tax profession, taxpayers and the ATO, launching an ongoing open dialogue. The conference will present information about how to advance and transform practice management, including using technology and tools like Standard Business Reporting (SBR), and how tax agents can adapt their practices’ business model to take advantage of the rapidly changing environment.

Fees and how to register
