After a review of how the ATO governs and delivers strategic change, a new Enterprise Governance model has been developed and endorsed by the ATO Executive. The new model focuses on separating strategy and design from delivery, as well as streamlining arrangements to reduce complexity and duplication.
The new Governance model aligns investment to the ATO's vision and Corporate Plan. It simplifies and streamlines governance arrangements. It is designed to create a focal point for shaping the client experiences and policy outcomes, and improving the integration and coordination of the ATO work program.
A number of new committees have been established, reflecting the ATO intent to continue to focus on client experiences and policy outcomes. Each committee is chaired by a member of the ATO Executive:
- Strategy and Integration
- Client Experience
- Staff Experience and Integrity
- Partners Experience
- Policy Design
- Enterprise Risk Management.
