"I have a client whose turnover has exceeded $20M and is then obliged to lodge BAS monthly. As the ATO had not updated to monthly BAS automatically, I chased this up with them and after 5 weeks and 2 hours or so on the phone, it has taken one officer about 5 minutes to process. Is it too much to ask to be put through to the person that can deal with these things immediately, rather than hiding behind a 28 day processing period plus escalations etc??"
