MEMBER 201 writes:
"I have just received the latest eLink from the ATO. It states that the ATO 'recently wrote to affected people to let them know that the super concessional contributions cap is $25,000 for everyone - regardless of their age.' The eLink then explains that funds are not allowed to accept contributions from members over 75 except mandated contributions. Are there any mandated contributions for over 75s? Highly unlikely.
I believe that the wording of this letter is deceptive to any person over 75. Will the ACCC issue a penalty to the ATO?"
