"We lodged an objection for a tax consolidated group that resulted in it being eligible for a refund of approximately $180,000. The ATO advised us of the successful objection in June 2012 and the refund is sitting in the client's account at the ATO. When the client's tax agent asked for the refund to be paid they were advised that it has been flagged as 'high risk' and so will not be paid until it has been looked into.
Interesting that ATO processed amendments are considered high risk!"
