I have received the new PAYG Instalment 'bulk' mail out letter to agents.
On the back is the list of clients who can decide whether to elect to go Annual.
There are 4 columns - one is labelled 'Annual Instalment Amount'.
I called the ATO - they said no that isn't the Annual Instalment Amount – the AIA is that figure increased by 6%.
Secondly - one of my clients received an individual letter dated 4 days before - all the amounts are completely different to those now appearing on the 'bulk' letter - I asked the ATO why? - They said that they have no idea.
There is no 'system' anymore.
