MEMBER 222 writes:

"Two things irritate me a great deal because I think they should not be happening and even an IT specialist such as the ATO employ could fix the problem.

  1. Activity Statement Lodgment Reports should not include all the detail of clients who have been removed from your lodgment list years earlier, and,
  2. Activity Statements lodged via the Portal should not randomly disappear and show as overdue after the statement has been viewed and printed on the Portal - which kind of indicates that they have been lodged.

Neither of these have anything to do with the returns that are now sitting idle in the ATO system with no explanation, no correspondence, no refunds and no hope of getting anything moving without a lot of heartburn and bad language.

Move over Commissioner - let someone who can deliver have a go!"
