"I might sound like a stuck record (or should that be CD), but how many times do we have to request that the subjects listed in the Mail 'New Message' area of the Portal be expanded to:-


a) Have more subjects in each topic to better direct the messages to the appropriate area;

b) Each topic have an 'Other' or 'General' subject where the matter doesn’t fit one of the listed subjects (which is probably more than half the time due to the problem pointed out above, but will still be the case in some instances even with expanded subject listings).


It should not be hard and would help us agents and the ATO to help ensure the matter is directed to the correct area for attention."
