Can The Tax Institute have a really serious conversation with the ATO about fixing this endless stream of problems. So many of the reported problems by members are bordering on what appears to be maladministration within the ATO. Surely the ATO reads this stuff and it would seem sensible in relation to many of the reports for the ATO to contact The Tax Institute and offer an explanation or help.
Does that happen? Does it happen often enough?
I must say, it would seem many of the complainants do not seem to have good or high level contacts in the ATO otherwise they should be able to clear many of these issues quickly.
Do you in fact publish all the member feedback or are you selective (to save space)?"
