"I notice the ATO is no longer sending us the Tax Agent magazine, but rather lets us download a pdf version, then print it out. Only one problem was that it only printed 23 of 41 pages and for love nor money would it print the remaining pages. Perhaps the glitch is my fault, who knows, I am not a tech head. I know what the ATO have done with the saving in paper and printing costs with the Tax Agent magazine, they have used the paper to print our wonderful new assessment notices.

Another issue I would like to raise is when a client gives us 'the flick' and I check the Portal to see if they are still a client, I discover that the only 'account' showing on the Portal is the TAX BONUS ACCOUNT. The client has gone elsewhere or self lodged, so their income tax account and integrated client account (where applicable) are no longer shown, so to complete the removal of the former client I now have to REMOVE CLIENT from my client listing. Surely the ATO's new processing system could fix this problem and save us poor practitioners some valuable time."
