“The government talks about cutting red tape for business and they go and invent this - ‘A new standard to streamline super’!
So now the guy with his own little company and his own self-managed super fund has to send his super contribution money to this government department to process it and send it back to his SMSF???
How much is all this going to cost government (ie the poor taxpayer) or are they going to put a processing fee on the superfunds? Let’s be honest, they just want to monitor super contributions and fine the poor employer who sends his contributions in a bit late. Maybe that is how they are going to cover the cost.”
