How bad is it that when using Online to send a message, after typing in your explanation of what needs fixing, you press send and it returns with “An error has occurred”, and you lose the information. Fortunately, I remember not to trust the ATO and at least save my text.
And the rub: go to the old Portal and send message, it works.
And, the new Online gives no indication of what functions are not working, or working intermittently. This has already been raised before, but not fixed.
So yes, Online looks lovely but is not working better than Portal.
Let’s hope the ATO can convince the Government for $800 million to upgrade their computers.
