17 May 2019 Regarding ATO’s response to Member 83's comment 'ATO updates reported in TaxVine'

MEMBER 117 writes: 

The ATO responded to Member 83 in last week’s TaxVine: 

“……it will be very important for you to be vigilant in utilising the client communication list accessible through both online services for agents and the portal, to have visibility of client communications being sent to the MyGov inbox. 

An agent has visibility of these communications through the client communication list and should be regularly accessing this list to keep track of their client’s ATO communications.” 

But why – why do we have to do this?
