Back 10 years before smartphones and when many transactions with the ATO were done via paper, the service standard was set at 28 days. 

In a time where many tax return refunds are issued in 4 to 5 days and most applications (ie ABN, TFN) are lodged electronically, isn’t it time for the ATO to review this standard to something more realistic?
