"I keep getting told how many returns have been processed since 1 July but the Portal has been on the blink and unusable all of this week and not a word from anyone about what is going on - trying to ring the FKC 33 and there is a waiting time of over 30 minutes"

TAXVINE COMMENT: Tax Counsel Tamera Lang ATIA advises TAXVINE that recent difficulties with accessing the Tax Agent Portal, as experienced by members, have been raised with the ATO. The ATO has advised that it is aware that there have been some intermittent technical difficulties with the Portal over the last day or so. Maintenance is being carried out, and it is hoped that stability will be restored quickly. The ATO apologises for any inconvenience caused.
