06 Feb 12 Tax practitioner research 2011-12

The ATO advises that in the coming months, it will conduct research to increase its understanding of tax practitioners':

  • current working environment
  • perceptions of ATO administration of the tax system
  • satisfaction with the products and services provided
  • opinions relating to topics raised in recent discussions with tax practitioners.

Invitations to participate in the online survey will be emailed to randomly selected registered tax agents and BAS agents (registered agents) around March 2012. The research has been separated into modules addressing the above areas of focus. Participating registered agents will be randomly assigned at least one module to complete.

Chant Link & Associates, a research organisation, will conduct this research on the ATO's behalf in partnership with Survey Sampling International.
