The Taxation Institute was mentioned in the Australian Financial Review on Monday 27 September ‘No room at the inn as lobbyists court Canberra'. In the article, we were quoted as raising the key concerns of members with the new Assistant Treasurer Bill Shorten: these included, taxation of trusts, a long term plan for superannuation and ensuring GST is on the table at the tax summit.
