We’ve had cases where we have lodged a TBAR file via the Portal and received a validation confirmation “Lodgment Successful”. The file contained TBAR report details for multiple SMSF’s and members. On doing a spot check on some records, we’ve found members that have not had an entry recorded against their TBAR account.
We have sent the details to the ATO via the Portal and also followed up. This has been going on for almost 3 ½ months. We’ve received no reply from the ATO.
What is going on at the ATO? We have lodged hundreds of reports and have no idea if the TBAR files that are lodged via the Portal file upload, are being processed properly and no one at the ATO is answering messages on this issue.
Other members might want to check the processing of their TBAR files in case they also aren’t being fully processed. Have any other members had problems with TBAR file lodgments?
