National convention gala dinner and the Tax Adviser of the Year Awards ceremony – Cairns Convention Centre
The Gala Dinner is always a highlight of National Convention. As the only national gathering of The Tax Institute’s membership, their staff and clients, the Gala Dinner is always a highlight of the National Convention.
The highlight of the event is the Tax Adviser of the Year Award Ceremony, which recognises the outstanding achievements of the best tax practitioners in Australia, from rising stars to industry leaders. The awards will honour those individuals who are making their mark in the profession and reward them with a valuable opportunity to recognise their excellence in tax and be acknowledged by their colleagues and peers. The awards will be presented in the following categories:

- Chartered Tax Adviser of the Year Award

Throughout the evening you will cruise the waterways of Cairns, exploring the beauty of the natural harbour, and watch the day transcend to night, against a backdrop of rainforest-clad hills, as the twinkling night-lights of the city appear.
