O, R&D tax credit, where for art thou?

Published on 13 Apr 2011 | Took place at Rydges Perth, Perth , WA

The federal government’s R&D tax credit is now almost 12 months overdue and there has been widespread concern that it will be a significant wind back of the current R&D tax concession.

This event looked at the story behind the delay in the credit and what the main changes and impacts are likely to be. It also discussed some practical advice about how to handle the new R&D tax compliance environment introduced by AusIndustry in late 2010.

This event also discussed recent experience with assessments of the eligibility of claims for the R&D tax concession that has revealed some serious flaws with the assessment process. This event also examined the present process and suggested strategies to improve the process.
