Author profile:

Stephen GREEN
Stephen Green FTIA is a Group Executive at ANZ. Having been with the company for 21 years, he heads the Group’s taxation function globally. Stephen commenced his accounting and auditing career with Price Waterhouse in 1970 and made the shift to tax in 1981. He joined the taxation function of ANZ in 1986, became head of the Australian tax unit in 1992, and ultimately moved into his current position as Group General Manager, Taxation. Under his current leadership, ANZ engaged with the ATO to develop and pilot Australia’s first Forward Compliance Arrangement and more recently the first Annual Compliance Arrangement. Stephen comes from a chartered background, and has been with the ANZ Group for 22 years.
