This seminar paper addresses topical issues of concern raised by some industry representatives and commentators surrounding the states' and territories' obligations under the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Reform of Commonwealth-State Financial Relations. It then provides a summary of state and territory taxation changes since 1 July 2002.
Simon is the Director Duties and Grants Division within the Queensland Office of State Revenue. As such Simon is responsible for all duties and grants assessing and compliance matters, large corporate and serious non-compliance. Simon has held executive positions responsible for all revenue lines and functions in revenue offices in South Australia and Queensland. He has also held senior treasury roles in expenditure review and policy areas. Current at 12 April 2016
